Back in the Seventies aftermarket pickups were few and far between. Seymour Duncan, Dimarzio, and Bill Lawrence were about the only three names that I can think of. We all know how popular Dimarzio and Duncan are these days but what happened to Bill Lawrence.
Well Bill and his wife Becky are continuing to make the classic blade humbuckers under the name Wilde Pickups. The classic L500 which was favored by Dimebag Darrell before he jumped ship to Duncan. The designs are being made by the man himself so you can rest assured that these are top notch and sound great. They have added a few more traditional pickups for Strats and Teles as well.
Pricing is very reasonable since your are going direct to the source. Single coils starting at $48 and humbuckers from $50.
