Guitar Crime

Guitar crime Here’s a few stories which pit criminals and guitars in a struggle for survival.  Ok not really survival but they do make one wonder if there are some Darwin Award winners in this crowd.

First up from the New Haven Courant we have a local guitar shop which was robbed.  The slime ball got away with $300 cash.  Not so fast, you see the shop had $300,000 worth of instruments hanging on the wall.  I guess it’s easier to score your smack with a C-note instead.

Next we have story from the Fraser Bay Chronicle about a somewhat inebriated man and his apparent need to rock.   A Canadian tourist visiting Australia rushed the stage at the Torquay Hotel and stole a guitar.  In his staggering attempt to escape the would be thief dropped the guitar in the street damaging it beyond repair.
