Yes, that's right, "The" boys are back in town thanks to some recently discovered material dating back to the bands heyday. The new album, "Still Dangerous: Live at the Tower Theater Philadelphia 1977" was a recorded during the 1977 Bad Reputation tour.
For rock fans this is a great find. One cannot discuss the topic of twin guitar bands without including Thin Lizzy. Dare I say Thin Lizzy invented the twin guitar leads. The guitar lines were melodic yet still maintained that rock and roll feel. Phil Lynot, although not a guitarist was truly a force to be reckoned with. His vocal style and brutal bass added a unique sound and feel to this great band.
Rumor has it there is more material in this recently recovered stash that may be released in the future. Until then, we have "Still Dangerous" to keep the rock and roll fires burning for one of the most unique bands of it's time.
