When I'm 64:update

image

Back in April, 2008 I wrote a post about a cool old jazz guitar player I saw at Disneyland.  I was intrigued by this guy and just knew he had to have a great story.  I had thought about him off and on for a while and wondered if he would still there when I take my family again this year.  Well I guess I wasn't the only one who wanted to hear this guys story.

The guys over at the Six String Bliss podcast caught up with him in January while they were out here for NAMM.  The man's name is  Ernest McLean and he gave them quite a story.  From Fats Domino to the Aristocats, this guy was a sideman to many greats and he tells all about it in the Six String Bliss podcast number 137.  Go check it out and get some great guitar history straight from the man who lived it.
